Social development refers to the process by which a child learns to interact with others around them. Social development most often refers to how a child develops friendships and other relationships, as well how a child handles conflict with peers.
TGDC aims to help children feel comfortable in the Centre. We want them to trust their environment, make friends and feel as though they are part of the community. TGDC wants children to be able to interact with others successfully.
TGDC will support and foster your child's social development through allowing them to follow their own interest. We will be good role models, allow children to ask questions, encourage them to try new things, establish routines and acknowledge their feelings.
